This is a node-locked license that has all the features of Houdini FX with some. Houdini for Chess King lies within Games, more precisely Simulation. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. Once this option has been selected, just start the Houdini product you are licensed for. Students can download our free learning edition called Houdini Apprentice. Downloading Houdini for Chess King 3.0 from the developers website was possible when we last checked.

When using SideFX as your license server, there is no need to install licenses. Login-Based Licensing will set your machine to use the SideFX server as the license server.
This will install Houdini licenses directly to the computer or server machine.
